Youth Environmental Power Initiative

about us

Youth Environmental Power Initiative (YEPI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes sustainability, racial & social equity, environmental justice and stewardship by empowering youths to take action through legislative advocacy, community engagement, peer-to-peer outreach, workshops and summits, educational videos, student-led journals, and impact projects that provide diverse pathways to explore environmentalism, fight climate change, and end racial and environmental injustice.

Our Impact

students have participated in our hands-on environmental justice activities at our workshops/booths or attended our Racial Understanding, Social Equity, and Environmental Justice  Symposiums/Environmental Justice Leadership Trainings!
